Ok ive posted a link on HBF so feel obliged to bore you all to death..

I like to brew bearing costs in mind as i am sure we all do, however i do like a bit of shiny every so often. So with it being bah humbug time of year i had a few spare beer tokens about me.

As my batch size increase i have realized my weakest link and thought i would treat myself.

I use a 3 vessel system (cooking on gas) which serves me well, but like anything it can always be improved/expanded.

So my new toy is a nice shiny 80 litre Thermopot all good to go, bottom drain kit fitted false bottom and a thermometer.

At this point i would like to add the level of help and the speed of service has been well above and beyond what i would have expected from any company.

So Paul at Angel homebrew gets 11 out of 10 for that.

I originally enquired a few days ago and to be honest wasn’t expecting a reply until midweek.

i think by now the emails are well in double figures.

i was given different options and advised that the postage might be the killer.

Needless to say i went full in on the options….though there was no pressure to do so.

At 244 this morning i got an email with the options and postage charges..i didn’t reply till mid afternoon..(im daft and dont mute phone so i assume we all are)

Any how made my decision and got my invoice,asked timescale and was advised hopefully later on in week, paid via pay pal shortly after got mail to  confirm address (using work address as it wont go through letterbox).

So at about 2230 tonight i have the above picture and the tracking number of the parcel which is being picked up tomorrow.

Arrived Wednesday to work, had to leave early so brought it home today.

 

Think I’m gonna have to brew on Sunday..(didn’t happen)

 

Received another mail from Paul about the time the pot arrived..was asked to check the placement  of a seal on the thermometer…as it may have been fitted incorrectly….checked and put it in correct place…all good….
